Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Astoria, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across New York run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Astoria is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Astoria follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I came here with a friend last week and the service and food was excellent. We got the chicken fried rice, taro fries and wings, as well as non alcoholic piΓ±a coladas. The food was delicious and flavorful and the drinks were refreshing. Our server was very friendly.

βBecause we are togetherβ¦β I stepped into District Saigon in Astoria. As soon as I took my seat, my eyes were drawn to the phrase flowing across the wall: 'Tuyα»t vα»i khi ta bΓͺn nhau.' I was told it means, 'Itβs wonderful because we are together.' I could immediately feel a deep, warm sense of hospitality. Being there with someone I cherish made the message resonate even more deeply in my heart. The modern yet serene interior wrapped us in comfort. The Summer Rolls and Beef Noodle Soup we enjoyed were as exceptional as I had hoped. The delicately sliced beef, the springy texture of the noodles, and above all, the deep yet clean brothβfilled with what felt like true sincerityβwere enough to wash away all the fatigue of our journey. #AstoriaEats #DistrictSaigon #VietnamesePho

The banh mi was delicious. Best Iβve had in NYC. The Pho was watered down both. In Virginia, we call this type of pho βKorean-styleββ¦ itβs when the authentic flavors of viet food are catered to the local Asian communityβ¦ it can be much improved. There is no difference in flavor in their most expensive bowl of pho and their cheapest bowl. I will definitely be back for the bahn mi but I hope the pho broth improvesβ¦ The chicken was too salty too, but the Taro fries were so good

Wow!! What an extremely amazing establishment for a Vietnamese food in Astoria Queens. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the dumplings and the piΓ±a colada. The banh mi was out of this world. Best chicken banh mi iβve ever had. I will say the service was a little lackluster that night no hate on the staff. There were only three people working that night and it was extremely busy. I give kudos to them and they definitely deserve the tip. But the restaurant ownership definitely needs to do more hiring or better staffing for weekend nights. The atmosphere also was extremely good. We had a community table as the restaurant was packed and I will say it was absolutely lovely. I highly recommend you to go to this restaurant and it was not too expensive.
